Habbo Hotel Email Phishing Scam targeting Habbo users. Following Habbo hitting the news-headlines this week, we have seen numerous examples of unsolicited email appearing to be from Habbo with the subject line “Habbo user “Selwyn” has sent you a message”. Another example of the same has subject line “Habbo user “Adrian” has sent you a message”

Habbo is a social networking site aimed at teenagers.

The spammed-out email invites the recipient to follow the link in the mail to open the message send by the Habbo user.

On closer inspection of the link, it will take you to a website in Russia which has nothing to do with Habbo.
